About the Assembly Summer 2011 - joint booth with other Linux users.
As some of you know I am more or less active in local linux users group and Ubuntu community. The latter had IRC meeting 29th Apr. I raised the question about Assembly there and asked about the chance that we (MeeGo people) could join the other Linux people. The stand was joined effort last year too: fedora/ubuntu/vapaakoodi.
More about subject can be found from here (in Finnish only):

Anyway, they would like to see us there too, if we want to come. Also, if we have some material to show/use (banners, leaflets, demo machines, etc) the better. In other words we could get a shared stand with the others. Ofc this would mean that we take some responsibility of the arrangements before, during and after the event. Those details would be settled in the following weeks/months. It has been tradition that volunteers participating stand, will receive free/VIP pass to Assembly. Note! That does not however imply that same will happen this year :)
I would suggest that we proceed with this joint effort instead of doing this Assembly assault only by ourselves. Ofc we can ask some support for example from Intel and others. I'd like to see that some one from Helsinki area could take a little responsibility of this (organizing things). Any thoughts? Are we still willing to go to Assembly (as MNFI) and if so, should we go with this joint effort or alone?
